Knowing how to build your opt-in email list is a MUST if you are serious about marketing your business online.  There are many people that will start off online without building a list,  and they ALWAYS come to the conclusion that they would be much better off,  if they had built their list from the beginning.

2.  Write articles that send your readers to a landing page.  By writing articles,  you are already "warming" up your prospects.  They will have a much better chance of becoming a subscriber if they are warmed up.  Your articles should give them a good "primer" for your landing page.

3.  Have your current subscribers refer a friend of theirs to subscribe to your list.  This is an easy way to go "viral" and start getting more and more subscribers.  Just having a simple option in your e-mails for your subscribers to refer someone can help to build your list.
